The Utah legislative session is 45 calendar days our architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) community follows closely. From funding for transportation and building projects to key legislation that impacts our professions, this timely Legislative Update is one of our most popular and well-attended events of the year.

In addition to project funding, you’ll learn about the legislation to overhaul the process the Utah Legislature uses to appropriate funding for buildings on state college, university and technical college campuses. We’ve also invited our speakers to share related statewide strategic initiatives, how the AEC community can better service UDOT and DFCM, how professional firms can be better prepared for future projects, and best practices in proposing and bidding on contracts.

Speakers:

Jim Russell - Director, Division of Facilities Construction & Management

Jason Davis – Deputy Director of Engineering and Operations, Utah Department of Transportation

Something specific you'd like our panelists to address? Our lunch programs are always more interesting with input from you. If you or members of your firm have any questions you'd like to submit to our speakers, please send them via e-mail to Julee Attig at jattig@reaveley.com by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19th.
