SMPS Utah Raises Funds for YWCA

The Utah Chapter of The Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS Utah), in connection with its 2011 annual golf tournament, raised cash contributions totaling $1,550 plus numerous items of clothing, food, toiletries, and supplies etc., for the Salt Lake YWCA to assist in its effort to provide help and shelter to women in need.
SMPS Utah strives each summer to make its golf tournament good fun, great exercise, and valuable networking, but also, a source of support for worthy charitable organizations. SMPS Utah thanks Ibi Guevara of Hunt Electric, Inc. and her committee for their time and energy organizing the golf event and charity drive.
SMPS Utah is the local chapter of the nation-wide Society for Marketing Professional Services, a trade organization of marketing professionals serving the AEC community of architects, engineers, and contractors by providing information, education and networking resources.
The Utah Chapter offers monthly luncheon programs featuring key industry specialists as well as networking opportunities with others in the industry. The Chapter also provides educational workshops in subjects best suited to our membership as identified through a membership survey.
