Duties: Coordinates the schedule of marketing proposal development and timely completion of documents; completes layout of proposal presentation materials; prints, binds and archives materials for qualification/proposal books; creates and updates marketing tools such as: Project lists, construction job reference information, resumes, industry and/or market segment information, and various other marketing documents for use in qualification/proposal books; produces oversized presentation materials or creates electronic presentation documents (Power Point); regularly reviews all standard marketing materials to update and maintain the most current and accurate information; assists and integrates with other marketing coordinators and department, as needed; assists with website maintenance, at basic skill level; assists strategic business units (SBUs) with the planning and successful implementation of groundbreakings and facility openings; assists strategic business unit leaders in the development and implementation of marketing programs such as direct mail campaigns, trade shows, seminars, etc; performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Communications, Writing, or related field; has working knowledge of Quark Xpress, and multi-page document layout, also must have experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft Excel, or any other industry-standard software is a plus but not required; must type a minimum of 40 wpm; must have working experience in a Windows environment; can establish priorities and a course of action for handling multiple tasks; has strong written and oral communication skills; communicates clearly in writing and uses correct spelling and grammar: Must exhibit good interpersonal skills; work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and demands; performs essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately and safely with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing threat of harm to self or others.
Preferred Qualification: Has 1 year working experience in related field.

Federal Proposal Coordinator

R&O Construction has an opening for a Federal Proposal Coordinator to coordinate all federal proposal activities.
Responsibilities include managing proposal schedules and deadlines; developing proposal outline and compliance matrix, and writing, editing and monitoring the progress of the proposal from start to finish. Skills required include:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Past experience with successful federal proposal writing
• Ability to interpret proposal requirements
